Although Hope Runway is a children’s fashion event, our website, registration forms, ticketing pages, and related online services are intended for use by adults, including parents, legal guardians, authorized caregivers, sponsors, vendors, and industry professionals.

Hope Runway does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13. All information concerning a minor must be submitted by the minor’s parent, legal guardian, or another adult legally authorized to provide the information and consent on the minor’s behalf.

By registering a child or submitting information about a minor, the adult completing the registration confirms that:

They are the child’s parent, legal guardian, or authorized representative.
They have permission to provide the child’s personal information.
The information submitted is accurate and complete.
They consent to the collection and use of the information for event registration, administration, scheduling, safety, production, communication, and other purposes described in our Privacy Policy.

Parents and legal guardians may contact Hope Runway to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information submitted about their child, subject to applicable legal, accounting, safety, and recordkeeping requirements.

TICKETS, REGISTRATION, AND REFUND POLICY

All Hope Runway ticket sales, child participant registrations, event packages, sponsorship packages, vendor fees, donations, and other event-related purchases are final and non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law or expressly approved by Hope Runway in writing.

Refunds, credits, and exchanges will not be provided because of:

A purchaser’s or participant’s change of plans.
Illness, family circumstances, scheduling conflicts, transportation issues, travel delays, or inability to attend.
Late arrival or failure to attend the event.
Missed rehearsals, fittings, check-in times, performances, activities, or other parts of the event.
A participant’s voluntary withdrawal.
A failure to complete required forms, releases, measurements, fittings, rehearsals, or preparation requirements.
Removal from the event due to a violation of event rules, safety requirements, venue policies, or standards of conduct.
Dissatisfaction with seating location, performance order, appearance time, schedule, event duration, or other production details.
Changes to participating designers, vendors, sponsors, photographers, performers, speakers, hosts, or production partners.
Weather conditions that do not result in the complete cancellation of the event.
A purchaser’s failure to review the ticket description, package inclusions, attendance rules, venue requirements, or event instructions before completing the purchase.

Tickets, registrations, and packages may not be resold, transferred, reassigned, or credited toward a future event without prior written approval from Hope Runway.

A ticket or registration is valid only for the person, participant, event, date, and ticket category identified in the applicable purchase or registration record.

EVENT CANCELLATION OR RESCHEDULING

If Hope Runway cancels the entire event and does not provide a rescheduled date, refund eligibility will be determined in accordance with applicable law and the cancellation terms communicated by Hope Runway.

Processing fees, ticketing platform fees, payment processing fees, donations, and amounts already paid to third-party providers may remain non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.

If the event is postponed or rescheduled, purchased tickets and registrations will generally remain valid for the new date.

A change to the event date, time, venue, program, performance order, schedule, format, or production details does not automatically create a right to a refund unless required by applicable law.

Hope Runway is not responsible for travel, hotel, parking, transportation, wardrobe, photography, childcare, or other personal expenses incurred by purchasers, participants, or guests.

ADULT ADMISSION POLICY

Unless a ticket or registration package expressly states otherwise, each registered child participant may be accompanied by one adult parent, legal guardian, or authorized caregiver.

Admission for one accompanying adult does not mean that multiple adults may enter under the same child registration.

A second or additional adult attending on behalf of the same child must purchase a separate valid admission ticket.

Admission for second and additional adults is subject to:

Purchasing a child participant package does not guarantee admission for more than one accompanying adult.

Hope Runway may limit or discontinue the sale of tickets for second and additional adults when the venue is approaching or has reached its permitted capacity.

Hope Runway may deny admission to a second or additional adult who does not have a valid ticket, even when that person is a parent, relative, caregiver, or guest of a registered child.

No refund will be provided when an additional adult is denied entry because they did not purchase the required ticket or because the venue has reached its permitted capacity.

Children may not be left at the venue without the supervision arrangements established by Hope Runway.

The accompanying adult remains responsible for the child before, during, and after the event, except while the child has been formally checked into a designated supervised participant area.

CAPACITY AND RIGHT OF ADMISSION

All admissions are subject to venue capacity, applicable fire and safety codes, security procedures, ticket verification, and event rules.

Hope Runway reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to refuse, restrict, or revoke admission when:

The venue has reached its permitted capacity.
A person does not hold the correct ticket, registration, credential, wristband, or written authorization.
A ticket has been duplicated, resold, altered, transferred, or obtained through an unauthorized source.
A person refuses to comply with security procedures, check-in requirements, venue rules, or staff instructions.
A person’s conduct creates a safety, security, harassment, disruption, or misconduct concern.
A person appears intoxicated or is in possession of prohibited items.
Registration information is materially inaccurate or incomplete.
Admission would violate applicable law, venue requirements, contractual obligations, or safety restrictions.

A ticket does not guarantee admission after the stated check-in or entry deadline.

Late arrivals may be required to wait for an appropriate entry time or may be denied admission when entry would interrupt the runway program, disturb participants or guests, or create a safety concern.

Hope Runway will apply this policy without unlawful discrimination.

EVENT CHANGES

Hope Runway may make reasonable changes to the event when necessary because of participant safety, production requirements, venue requirements, weather, government restrictions, vendor availability, circumstances beyond the organizer’s reasonable control, or other operational reasons.

Changes may include:

Event date or starting time.
Venue or room assignment.
Rehearsal, fitting, check-in, or performance schedule.
Program length or order.
Runway groups or participant appearance order.
Designers, hosts, performers, photographers, speakers, vendors, sponsors, or production partners.
Seating assignments.
Event format.
Participant instructions or preparation requirements.

Hope Runway will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes using the email address or phone number provided during registration.

Purchasers and participants are responsible for maintaining current contact information and reviewing event emails, text messages, announcements, and preparation instructions.

PARTICIPANT AND PARENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The parent, guardian, or authorized adult registering a child is responsible for:

Providing accurate participant and emergency-contact information.
Providing accurate clothing, shoe, and sizing information.
Disclosing allergies, medical conditions, mobility needs, accessibility requirements, behavioral needs, or other information reasonably necessary for the child’s safety.
Completing required forms, releases, waivers, and permissions.
Reviewing schedules, rehearsal requirements, venue policies, and preparation instructions.
Ensuring that the child arrives on time and is appropriately dressed and prepared.
Remaining reachable throughout the event.
Picking up the child at the designated time and location.
Supervising the child except during designated supervised participant activities.
Following instructions issued by Hope Runway staff, venue personnel, security personnel, and production personnel.

Hope Runway may restrict or cancel a child’s participation when:

Required information or documentation has not been provided.
Required releases or permissions have not been signed.
The participant has missed a mandatory rehearsal, fitting, or check-in.
Preparation requirements have not been completed.
Participation would create a material safety, medical, behavioral, or operational concern.
The participant or accompanying adult violates event or venue rules.

Such restriction or cancellation does not create a right to a refund.

PHOTO, VIDEO, AND MEDIA NOTICE

Hope Runway events may be photographed, filmed, livestreamed, recorded, or otherwise documented by Hope Runway, HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC., media representatives, sponsors, vendors, guests, and authorized production professionals.

Where a separate media release is included in the registration process, the terms of that media release will control the use of a participant’s name, image, voice, likeness, performance, and biographical information.

Attendance may result in incidental appearance in:

Crowd photography.
Event photography.
Runway footage.
Livestreams.
Social media content.
Promotional materials.
News or press coverage.
Sponsor materials.
Event recaps and archival recordings.

Parents or guardians with specific privacy or safety concerns must contact Hope Runway before the event.

Hope Runway cannot guarantee that a participant or guest will not appear in incidental images or recordings taken in public, audience, backstage, common, or shared event areas.

CHARITABLE EVENT DISCLOSURE

Hope Runway is a charitable fundraising event benefiting HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC.

Funds raised through Hope Runway are intended to support Emilia’s medical treatment and related needs.

These needs may include:

Medical consultations and treatment.
Hospital and physician expenses.
Medical procedures and surgeries.
Rehabilitation and therapy.
Prescription medications.
Medical supplies and equipment.
Travel and accommodation connected with treatment.
Other expenses directly related to Emilia’s medical care, recovery, and well-being.

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable event, ticket, sponsorship, or donation page, reasonable event-related expenses may be deducted from the funds collected.

Such expenses may include venue rental, event production, equipment, staffing, security, insurance, payment processing, ticketing, marketing, photography, video production, printing, transportation, and administrative costs.

The remaining net proceeds will be transferred to or administered by HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC. for Emilia’s medical treatment and related needs.

Hope Runway does not guarantee that any specific amount will be raised.

The final amount available for Emilia’s treatment will depend on ticket sales, donations, sponsorships, payment processing fees, event expenses, refunds required by law, and other costs connected with organizing and operating the event.

If a specific percentage, dollar amount, or portion of proceeds will benefit HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC., that amount will be stated on the applicable ticketing, sponsorship, donation, or promotional page.

USE OF FUNDS

Funds collected for Emilia’s treatment will be administered by HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC. in accordance with its charitable purpose, governing documents, applicable restrictions, and legal obligations.

Restricted donations designated specifically for Emilia’s treatment will be used in accordance with the applicable donor restriction and applicable law.

If funds raised exceed Emilia’s current treatment and related medical needs, become impracticable to use for the stated purpose, or can no longer be used as originally anticipated, any remaining funds will be handled by HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC. in accordance with its governing documents, donor restrictions, charitable purpose, and applicable law.

Hope Runway does not independently control the medical decisions made by Emilia’s family, physicians, medical providers, or HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC.

TAX-DEDUCTIBILITY NOTICE

The purchase of an event ticket, child participant package, adult admission ticket, sponsorship package, vendor package, merchandise item, or other product or service is not automatically tax-deductible.

A payment made in exchange for admission, participation, products, advertising, promotional benefits, food, entertainment, or other goods or services may include a non-deductible portion equal to the fair market value of the benefits received.

Only the portion of a payment that qualifies as a charitable contribution under applicable law may be tax-deductible.

Any charitable acknowledgment or tax receipt will be issued only by an organization legally authorized to provide it.

Purchasers, sponsors, and donors should consult their own tax advisers regarding the deductibility of any payment.

Hope Runway does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice.

CHARITABLE SOLICITATION INFORMATION

Requests for additional information about HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC., its charitable activities, or the use of funds may be submitted using the contact information provided on the Hope Runway website.

Where required by applicable New York law, information regarding the organization’s latest financial report may be obtained from HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC. or from the New York State Office of the Attorney General, Charities Bureau.

Only the portion of a payment that qualifies as a charitable contribution under applicable law may be tax-deductible.

DONATIONS

A donor should not make a donation subject to a condition that has not been accepted in writing by HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC.

Hope Runway and HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC. reserve the right to decline, return, or restrict a donation when accepting it may violate applicable law, conflict with the charitable purpose, create an unreasonable administrative burden, or expose the event, the foundation, Emilia, or her family to safety, privacy, reputational, or legal concerns.

PAYMENT DISPUTES AND CHARGEBACKS

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute, purchasers should contact Hope Runway and provide a reasonable opportunity to review and address the matter.

Submitting a chargeback does not automatically cancel a registration or establish a right to a refund.

Hope Runway may provide the payment processor, ticketing platform, bank, or financial institution with documentation relevant to the dispute, including:

Purchase records.
Registration records.
Acceptance of these terms.
Ticket descriptions.
Email and text communications.
Attendance records.
Ticket scans.
Event schedules.
Participant records.
Refund policy disclosures.

Fraudulent, abusive, or knowingly inaccurate chargeback claims may result in cancellation of current or future registrations and refusal of future purchases, to the extent permitted by law.

SMS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Hope Runway may send SMS or text messages to parents, legal guardians, participants, customers, ticket purchasers, sponsors, vendors, donors, and event-related contacts who provide their phone number directly to the Hope Runway team.

Phone numbers may be provided through:

Event registration forms.
Ticket or package purchases.
Donation forms.
Sponsorship or vendor forms.
Website forms.
Social media communication.
App registration.
Customer support requests.
Direct communication with the Hope Runway team.

By submitting a phone number and providing the requested consent, the recipient agrees to receive text messages from Hope Runway concerning:

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing a ticket, registering a participant, making a donation, purchasing a package, or receiving event services.

Recipients may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP.

After an opt-out request, Hope Runway may send one final message confirming that the phone number has been unsubscribed.

Recipients may reply HELP for assistance or contact Hope Runway using the contact information published on the website.

Opting out of promotional messages may not prevent Hope Runway from sending messages necessary to:

Complete a requested transaction.
Respond to a direct inquiry.
Confirm an opt-out request.
Provide legally required information.

Recipients are responsible for providing a valid mobile number and notifying Hope Runway if their number changes.

ASSUMPTION OF ORDINARY EVENT RISKS

Attendance at an event may involve ordinary risks associated with public gatherings, live productions, backstage areas, lighting equipment, temporary staging, crowds, walking, standing, changing areas, and interactions with other participants and guests.

Parents and guardians remain responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate for their child.

Hope Runway does not provide medical advice and does not guarantee that event staff will be able to accommodate every medical, behavioral, dietary, or accessibility need.

Medical or accessibility needs must be disclosed before the event so that Hope Runway can determine whether reasonable accommodations can be provided.

Nothing in these terms releases any person or organization from liability that cannot legally be waived.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Hope Runway, HOPE FOR EMILIA FOUNDATION INC., their officers, directors, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors, venues, vendors, and production partners will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from:

Transportation or travel delays.
Parking issues.
Personal scheduling conflicts.
Failure to review event communications.
Lost, damaged, or stolen personal property.
Unauthorized third-party photography or recording.
The conduct of independent guests, venues, vendors, sponsors, or service providers.
Reasonable changes to the event program or schedule.
Circumstances outside the organizer’s reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.

GOVERNING LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

If any provision is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

Hope Runway may update these terms when reasonably necessary to reflect changes to the event, business practices, legal requirements, or communication services.

The version presented and accepted at the time of purchase or registration will generally govern that transaction, except where a later change is required by law or separately accepted by the purchaser.
